Vizhinjam is in Trivandrum. The FRAT (Federation of Residents' Associations, Trivandrum), a growing civic body in the capital - today a force to reckon with - can play a stupendous role in spearheading a popular movement against the inordinate procrastination and prolongation in implementing the project. Its job becomes easier especially when we have our own Ministers and Members in New Delhi willing to unanimously support the cause. Why not give a thought to this probability and explore its possibility?

Nobody knows what has happened to Vizhinjam project? It seems the project is not going to take off. The activity in this forum, which was solely created to garner support for the project, has suddenly become very less. It seems all lost the enthusiasm. As Mr.Lawrence told the only way to get the project going is to step up the agitation and FRAT should initiate this.

Friends, be optimistic!! There is no going back from Vizhinjam. See 5 years before it was unthinkable about framing a website solely for vizhinjam. Frat finally did it. Lets hope they will emerge out as the saviour of vizhinjam. This may be delayed but defenetely will come.

Yes, it is heartening that the ball has again started rolling. Let it gain momentum with A K Antony at the centre and M Vijayakumar at the state. We can see a glimmering beacon of hope in the distance. Vizhinjam cannot but be the perennial source of progress and prosperity for the state of Kerala. Better late than never! FRAT should now be on toes and do all that it can to expedite the process.

Where is FRAT???
These days there is no news from FRAT who used to urge for Vizhinjam port....

We lack a Chief Minister like K.Karunakaran who brought Nedumbaserri Airport.....

Its almost 3 months since Minister Vijayakumar said "Tender process to be completed in 8 months". Till now nothing has been done!!!
Not even steps to invite new Tender!!!
