Now Government is 'planning' to start work by Dec 2008....
This is absolute delay by the ministers and bureaucrats....

Let's hope for the best!!
The Vizhinjam project does appear to be under the active consideration of the government. The Investors' Meet, though a similar one in Kochi was politically aborted earlier, shows the govt's concern. The present Opposition does not try to thwart the attempts, but only offers full support for the enviable project.

Janapaksahm has shown guts to bring out the conspiracy behind the December 2008 schedule announced by the Government for commencement of the project..........
